California

We just got back from Newport Beach, CA and are thinking of the sand and the water a lot today. I wish TN wasn't such a land locked state. We loved vacationing in CA, seeing family and being so close to the beach. The sand was soft, the waves were crashing and the sun was hot... a great vacation. Asher did OK with the 4+ hr plane ride and the time zone changes. It was the first time that he got to 'swim' in the ocean. But, his favorite parts by far were the sand, the helicopters and of course the dogs! It was special getting to spend time with my Aunt, Uncle and cousins that live in CA. I know Asher enjoyed getting to know his big cousins. I can't put all of the great times into words. Here are a couple pictures.
