Main Street Festival

We went to the Main Street Festival this weekend. It was HOT! I am not complaining though... I love the warm weather. Asher was a bit confused as to why he was so hot. Here is a picture of the petting zoo. I think we will wait till he is a stable walker before going into the petting zoo. It looked a little crowded :)
It is safe to say that our family is pretty excited for the pool to open in our neighborhood!

Trip to IN

I was able to make a trip with Asher to see his Great Grandma Kelly and to attend his Uncle Darren's 40th Birthday Bash. It was a great trip. Asher and I really enjoyed spending time with family. One of the highlights was Asher getting to spend time with his ONLY cousin, Chloe! Here are a couple pictures.

We found out on Friday that Ty's Uncle Don passed away. So, we met in IL for the funeral. Uncle Don was an amazing man, and he will be missed.

Asher is 10 months old!

I can't believe that it has almost been a year since Asher was born. He is wearing us out lately with his crawling and attempts to pull up on EVERYTHING! He has discovered freedom. Life has been fun though. Overall he is a happy child and we are thankful for that. Here is a new picture of him and his daddy.

Ty's Birthday

For Ty's birthday he got a basketball hoop. So, we spend the past weekend putting it up.. It was a 7.5 hour project believe it or not, and that was with Ty's mom helping as well! I am sure before we know it Ty will have to share his present with Asher, but for now it is all his :)

Curls?

Here is a picture right after his bath... is Asher going to be a curly top like his momma???

It tends to straighten out once it is dry, but there is potential. As you can also see in this picture, Asher has some teeth. He has 6 currently and two more won't be too far behind.

Games with Daddy

Asher always enjoys time with his daddy. They always do fun things that mommy would never do.
When Ty and Asher are together there is always laughter to be heard. Music to my ears.

Spring has Sprung?

Asher and I are so excited that the weather has been so nice out. I really really hope it stays warm from now on! Ty and I took Asher out in the backyard and let him play in the grass for a minute. This really is the first time he has been 'in' the grass. He loved it. He was a little confused at first... but then enjoyed feeling the individual blades of grass.

I need to take some lessons from my son:
- Laugh often
- Enjoy the little things in life
- Live in the moment
- Forgive easily and quickly
