Our Boys

If you are on Facebook you probably already saw this picture.
Asher has been a great big brother. We are still working on him telling us when he is ready to get down, in situations like this, b/c his preferred method is just pushing Lincoln off of his lap.
Lincoln is doing well. This picture doesn't do him justice b/c he is a very smiley boy. He was just at the Dr and weighed in at 20.2 lbs at 3 1/2 months old!

Summer Fun...

It has been crazy having a new little one around. I haven't had tons of computer time. To catch you up a little bit on our summer so far, here are some recent pictures of Asher and our new little man, Lincoln. Lincoln is doing well and is already around 17 lbs! He turns 3 months this Saturday. I can't believe how time is flying.

Nice surprise...

This has been a big two days for our little Lincoln.
1. Yesterday Ty got him to smile repeatedly just by talking to him.
It was neat to see.
2. Then last night he surprised us all by rolling over!!! We weren't
expecting that for months based on our experience from when Asher was
little. We have a very strong little man on our hands!
Wish I had some pictures to share to go with the memories. We weren't
quite quick enough on the roll. I am sure pictures of smiling are to
come.

Asher is 2!

Asher had a great birthday. He went fishing in the morning. Then we
went out to lunch at our favorite restaurant and he got a free cookie
(we had a seat for him in a different car but he wanted to ride with
the balloons and we figured you are only 2 once! - see picture) Then
nap and a celebration with both sets of grandparents. He loved his
'digger' dirt cake, sandbox and new craft table. What a fun day! Our
little man is growing up fast!!

Growing Up Fast...

Our neighbor put up a tire swing the other day. Ty was outside playing with Asher and they took a turn on the swing. I was a little nervous, but Asher LOVED it and did great holding on. Asher is all boy as you can see by the dirt on his legs in the picture. He loves playing in the dirt :)

Kidney Update

We saw a great Dr. yesterday at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital. We finally made it to our apt after an hour sitting in traffic to get out of Franklin, due to the flooding. While we were there they were able to run some tests so we don't have to go back later this week. He does still have bigger kidneys, but the reflux tests came back normal. Which is awesome. We got the best news possible. There is no reflux (which is what would have required surgery). He wants to keep him on antibiotics and do another check in 6 weeks. Thank you so much for your prayers.
