About Us...

Ty and I are currently living in Franklin, TN. Ty is working at Nissan here in Franklin and I am enjoying life as a mom of two little boys.

Thanks for joining us in our excitement and being there to support us during this time. You all mean so much to us and we are looking forward to you building memories with us and our little family :)

Memorial Weekend Shower

Michelle Contich, Emily Webb and Marilyn Webb threw a baby shower for me here in Franklin on Sunday. It was such a special time. The theme was books and I got a lot of great kids books! The best part was getting a chance to see and visit with my friends in the area (most of which I hadn't seen in 2 years). There was also a very special present that everyone pitched in for. Everyone wrote out a prayer for our family and our new little one on the way. The prayers were sewn inside of a beautiful baby blanket. So, now our son on the way can be 'wrapped in prayer'. It was such a special gift. I am very thankful for all of the great friends and support that Ty and I are surrounded by.
A quick baby update. I went to the Dr again today. They did an ultrasound and fluid check. My fluid level is still high (AFL 38). They also took a measurement of the baby. Currently he is measuring at 8 lbs 10 oz. They said that he will continue to grow about 1/2 lb a week (still projecting around a 10 lbs baby). I am currently 37 weeks (will be 38 weeks on Sunday). So, she said that it really could be any day now. She said that if I get contractions this weekend to come into the hospital. She also talked to Ty and I about a possible C-Section due to the high fluid and the baby's size. So, we will see. We are both excited that the day of meeting our little one is coming closer. We will keep you updated!

I meant to tell you Sunday that I would love to make a scrapbook page to add to your book if I still can. Also, I meant to ask to see the prayer blanket. I thought that was a great idea too. So next time I see you, I'd love to see the blanket.
Much love,
Wendi
