Hiking

Ty and I took Asher on his first hike this weekend. It was a bit chilly but so good to be outside. Ty carried Asher in the Baby Bjorn and for the first 15 min we had Asher facing out. He was laughing and smiling constantly. It took him about 30 min to settle down and just enjoy looking around. We went on a 4 mile hike on a trail by Percy Priest Lake in Nashville. It really was beautiful. I have included a couple pictures that we took along the way. Here is one of Asher and Ty right by the lake. Asher was a little sleepy at this point. After that one I had to get one with him, so here is a picture of Asher and me. He enjoyed being out of the Baby Bjorn for a bit. :)

It is amazing how few pictures of flowers, trees, streams, etc we take when we have him along. I think this is the first time that Ty and I got back from a hike without 50 or so pictures. It was really good though. We truly took the time to enjoy the moment. I know Asher enjoyed it because he loves to be outside. It has turned chilly in Nashville all of the sudden and if we want to do this again any time soon... I need to go shopping to buy Asher some winter clothes! He is up to 18 lbs now. I have to include one more picture. I really like this one...
